In support of INDIA bloc supported CPIM candidate Rajendra Reang for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a procession and road meetings were organized from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm in Bankul, Sonai, Ludhua, Baishnabpur, Jalefa, Sabroom, Kalachara and some other areas.

The nominated candidate of the CPIM party, Rajendra Reang, was present in all these areas, along with the local leaders CPI(M) South District Committee Secretary Basudeb Majumdar, CPI(M) Leader Prabhat Chowdhury, Arun Tripura, Chittaranjan Basak and Sabroom Congress Party leader Manoranjan Nath.

On the other hand, a public meeting was held in support of BJP’s nominated candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma in support of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the joint initiative of BJP and TIPRA Motha at Manughat Shamsingh School ground under 40 Sabroom Assembly Constituency this afternoon.

In that public meeting, the South Tripura district president of the BJP and the former MLA of Sabroom Shankar Roy, the cabinet member of the TIPRA Motha party Animesh Debbarma, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee and other leaders of two other parties were present.
