Agartala, April 26: From now on, doctors who fail to report for duty on time will face salary deductions. This directive was issued by Health Secretary Kiran Gitte during a press conference held at the Agartala Press Club on Saturday.

During the conference, Gitte also highlighted various development initiatives underway at GB Hospital and Agartala Government Medical College, presenting them to the public as part of the state’s ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services.

The Health Secretary emphasized the importance of punctuality and discipline in the medical profession to ensure better patient care and efficient hospital management.
