Farmers Conference at Divyodaya Krishi Vigran Kendra

Farmers’ conference was held recently at the training hall of Divyodaya Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Khowai. Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Joydeh Debbarma inaugurated this conference.

Inaugurating the conference, the Sabhadhipati said that the government is working on various plans for the welfare of the farmers of the state.

Schemes initiated by the Central and State Governments for agricultural development and welfare of farmers are being delivered to the farmers.

President of Agriculture Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad Satyendra Chandra Das, Chairman of Khowai Panchayat Samiti Tinku Bhattacharya, Deputy Director of Khowai District Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Office Supratim Chakma, Officer of District Horticulture and Soil Conservation Office Sabendra Debbarma and others were present at the opening programme Agriculture expert of Divyodaya Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dr. Manoj Singh Sachan gave the welcome speech. 78 farmers participated in the workshop.
