AGARTALA — The State Election Commission (SEC) has concluded vote counting for the Autonomous District Council (ADC) Village Committee elections, confirming a decisive victory for Tipra Motha across the state’s hill areas. Counting commenced yesterday at 8:00 AM and wrapped up earlier this morning.
Out of 4,597 total seats spread across 587 Village Committees, elections were postponed in 3 seats due to a lack of nominations. A total of 1,640 candidates were elected unopposed prior to voting, leaving 2,957 seats that went to the ballot on September 28.

The Tipra Motha Party (TMP) has emerged as the dominant force in z of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) Village Committee elections, winning 3,428 of the 4,594 seats for which results were declared. The BJP finished second with 859 seats, while Independents won 173, CPI(M) 87, IPFT 33 and Congress 14 seats.
