Leftist organisations GMP and TYF held a Raj Bhavan campaign to highlight 11 point demands on Saturday.
The rally started from the front of the City Center of the Capital Agartala to reach the Raj Bhavan.
CPM state secretary Jitendra Choudhury, opposition leader Manik Sarkar and leaders of GMP and TYF took part in the rally.
Jitendra Chowdhury said that although the campaign is aimed at demanding 11 points, his main demand is further empowerment of ADC.
He also opined that neither Tipraland nor Greater Tipraland would ever be possible in Tripura.
Later, former Chief Minister and the Opposition leader comrade Manik Sarkar became vocal against the BJP government at the state and center. He has criticised BJP’s moves and strategies throughout his speech.
