Government is working on priority to provide basic facilities to the citizens of the state. The present government is determined to deliver the benefits of the developmental work of the government to the last person of the society under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha said yesterday this while inaugurating the underground water treatment plant with a capacity of 80 lakh gallons per day at Usha bazar in Agartala. This underground water treatment plant has been constructed under AMRUT scheme.
At the program, the Chief Minister said that the other name of water is “life”. We cannot survive without water. AMRUT scheme is being implemented in the state to provide drinking water to the citizens of urban areas. He said that 78 crore rupees have been spent on the implementation of this water treatment plant. About 4 thousand beneficiaries will be benefited.
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction by witnessing the management of the ground water treatment plant with all facilities. Chief Minister also emphasized on initiating such schemes in the coming days in the state.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been. launched with the aim to give the benefits of various schemes of the Central Government across the country.
Along with this Sankalp Yatra, Prati Ghare Sushason 2.0 campaign has been started in the state as well. Basically, the purpose of this Sankalp Yatra and Prati Ghare Sushason campaign is to deliver the various schemes and services of the government to the people. The Chief Minister said that the name of our Prime Minister is associated with “development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid special emphasis on transparency.
The current state government also believes. in transparent policy. Government is working by adopting transparent policy in every case.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumdar said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the government has given special importance to drinking water, education, health, agriculture etc. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka
Biswas and Sabka Prayas policy is the main driving force of this government. Former MLA Dr. Dilip Kumar Das and Secretary of Urban Development Department Abhishek Singh also spoke at the program. Director of Urban Development Department Rajat Pant delivered the welcome speech.
