A high-level meeting was held yesterday at the Secretariat to recruit more youths from the state under Agniveer scheme in the Indian Air Force. Secretary of Labour (including E.S & M.P) Abhishek Singh presided over the meeting.
Wing Commander and Commanding Officer of 11 Airman Selection Centre S Sanmugam and Director of Employment Services & Manpower Planning Department Aditi Majumder, officials of concerned departments of the state govemment representatives of Higher Education Department and NIC Tripura participated in the meeting It was decided in the meeting that initiatives will be taken by the Department to create more awareness among the youth of the state about Air Force and to register more number of youths of the state for recruitment in Agniveer scheme.

At the meeting. Wing Commander and Commanding Officer S. Sammugam said that the notification for the next recruitment of Agniveer scheme will be issued in March, 2023. The recruitment process will start from April, 2023 through online examination. At the meeting, Secretary of the Department of Employment and Manpower Planning Abhishek Singh emphasized on greater participation of the youth of the state in the next recruitment process.
