I&C Minister attends certificate distribution ceremony programme

115 newly trained beneficiaries of Sankalp, Samarth and Jal Jeevan Mission were given formal certificates on Wednesday under the initiative of Department of Skill Development.

Among them, there are 20 nurse, 15 traditional artists and 80 people including general plumbers and assistant electricians.

Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma handed over certificates to the trainees in a function organized at Hall No. 4 of Government Medical College, Agartala.
Minister Santana Chakma also inaugurated the MIS application system on the occasion.

This web portal is skillportal.tripura.gov.in.
Henceforth through this portal the data of all the day-to-day activities going on through the skill management system of the Department of Skill Development will be collected and properly integrated with the Skill India portal.

Inaugurating the event, Minister Santana Chakma said, “The government has taken initiatives to make the unemployed youth self-reliant through skill development. Many people are already working in various fields after training in this program.”


She added that skills are required in all fields these days. She expressed the hope that those who received the certificate at the end of the training today, will become self-reliant in upcoming days.
