If people from all sections of society come forward for voluntary blood donation, there will be no shortage of blood in the state: Chief Minister

Clubs play an important role in raising awareness in different areas such as local development, peace, and harmony. There is no nobler work than donating blood. Speaking at the inauguration of a blood donation camp organized to mark the 73rd foundation day of Shibnagar Modern Club and Amra Tarun Dal Club at College Tilla, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha said this. He stated that the government is working to ensure that blood. banks in the state have adequate reserves.

Blood donation should be accepted as a social service, and a healthy competitive environment should be created among clubs and organizations to hold blood donation camps. Along with government efforts, if people from all walks of life join this initiative, there will be no shortage of blood for medical purposes.

The Chief Minister said that the government is making every effort to eliminate drug abuse and drug peddlers. If clubs and different social organizations take initiatives alongside the government, anti-drug efforts will be fully successful. The government will always stand by and support the good work of clubs. He mentioned that there is a link between drug addiction and the spread of HIV, so awareness must be raised collectively at the family, social, and all other levels. Clubs and organizations must take on this responsibility seriously. In addition to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against drugs, the government, following the wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has undertaken various programs such as Har Ghar Tiranga and 75 Seemanta Veer to instill patriotism.

To guide society towards health, beauty, and proper development, everyone government, clubs, organizations, and individuals must work together. Such programs help foster good relationships among people in different areas. Currently, clubs and organizations are coming forward with different social welfare activities, which is a positive sign for society. Their initiatives are commendable.

Speaking as the chief guest, MP Rajib Bhattacharya said that the government has always stood by clubs and social organizations with different forms of assistance and will continue to do so.

He noted that clubs and social organizations are now taking good social initiatives, which is a positive sign for society. To keep society healthy and beautiful, we must always stand against drugs and that must be done collectively by the government and the people
