Inauguration of 2nd integrated district AYUSH Hospital in Udaipur

The state government is working on priority basis for the overall development of health, education, agriculture and sports. People no longer have to go outside the state for treatment of complex diseases because important departments like neurology, cardiology have been opened in Agartala Government Medical College and GBP hospital.

Construction of medical hub is underway in the state to provide better health services Chief Minister Prof (Dr) Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the 2nd integrated district AYUSH Hospital at Chandrapur in Udaipur on 31″ December, 2022.

The government has taken special initiatives to provide better health services to district hospitals in order to reduce patient referral to GBP hospital. On the occasion, MLA Biplab Kumar Ghosh said that this is a novel initiative by the state government to provide better health services. Secretary of Health department Dr. Debashis Basu also spoke on the occasion. Director of Health department Dr. Subhashis Debbarma gave the welcome address and Chairman of Matabari Panchayat Samiti Sujan Kumar Sen delivered the vote of thanks. This hospital will be open 24×7 There will be a total of 10 beds in this hospital. Out of which 5 are for men and 5 are for women.

During his visit to Gomati district on the same day, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha also inaugurated waste processing centre constructed in a scientific manner at Chandrapur Colony, Udaipur. Speaking there, he said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development work is going on in the state. The Chief Minister expressed his opinion that this centre will make a special contribution in building Swachh Bharat, Swachh Tripura, healthy and clean environment. This centre has been built under Swachh Bharat Mission project by Urban Development Department.
