Improved communication system plays an important role in the real development of the state or country. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the road communication system is being developed throughout the country. Construction of 6 national highways is under process for the development of road communication system in the state.

Apart from this, the central government has given in-principle approval for 4 more national highways. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Sahu said this while inaugurating the all-season paver block road in West Anandanagar yesterday. This road is named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sarani 2,233 people from 553 families in West Anandanagar will get the benefit from the construction of this road.

UIn his inaugural address, the Chief Minister said that following the motto of the Prime Minister, Sabka Saath Sahka Vikas and Sabka Prayas, the state government is working on the development of different fields including communication, health and education. The government is working with the goal of spending people’s money for the welfare of the people. The state government of yesteryears has done nothing for the people During the present government, only development and developmental works are being done across the state but the opposition does not see it.

The Chief Minister said that development of the state is never possible without peace. The people of the state also want peace in the state. But there is an attempt from some quarters to disturb the peace and to defame the government. The state government will deal with it by taking a strict stand to maintain law and order in the state. The Chief Minister said that different plans are being adopted to provide better health services to the people of the state. For this purpose, the govemment has decided to convert all primary health Centres into wellness Centres. Due to the development of health infrastructure in the state, the number of patients referred outside the state has decreased significantly. The Chief Minister said that various plans have been taken to make the state a special place in the country in terms of tourism. Tourism will create huge employment opportunities in the state in the near future

The Chief Minister said that the state government is working towards making Tripura a drug free state by taking responsibility. The Chief Minister sought cooperation from the people of all parts of the state for the successful implementation of this initiative of the government.
