Khowai: MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury inaugurates walking aids distribution programme

A District-Level walking aids distribution programme was organized yesterday at New Town Hall as a part of Prati Ghare Sushason program in Khowai. The distribution programme was inaugurated by MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury.

After inaugurating the programme, he said, the government is working for the welfare of the Divyangjans besides working for the overall development of the state. Chairperson of Khowai Municipal Council Debashish Nath Sharma said in the programme, it is not possible to form a beautiful society without the Divyangjans. The programme was presided over by Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Joydeh Debbarma Other dignitaries present there were DM & Collector Dilip Kumar Chakma, CDPO Dinesh Debbarma and social worker Diptendu Biswas.

Welcome speech was delivered by District official of Social Welfare & Social Education department Sujit Das. The guests handed over certificates and wheelchairs to 10 Divyangjans in the programme
