On Sunday, a press conference was organised at Lal Bahadur Club to inform about their free drug addiction treatment initiative.

Pranab Sarkar, president of Lal Bahadur Club said, “Under the initiative of Lal Bahadur Club, a free drug de- addiction treatment centre is being launched for the first time in Tripura. Free treatment will be provided at Lal Bahadur Club on the first Sunday and last Sunday of every month at 10 am.”

He added, “In this health centre, the necessary treatment and advice will be given to get rid of addiction. People have to register in advance while 15 patients will be checked every day.

Patients from all over the state can come to Lal Bahadur Club and take the opportunity of treatment.”

The senior journalist and president of Lal Bahadur Club has appealed to everyone to get the opportunity of free drug De- addiction treatment.

Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers is sponsoring the initiative. Notably, already a charity medical centre is running at Lal Bahadur Club, which offers free treatment on every Sunday. The centre also provides free medicines.

Besides, ambulance service are also available in Lal Bahadur Club. Lal Bahadur Club Secretary Amal Debbarma, Club Vice President Bijan Roy and Paltu Saha were present at the press conference.
