Rajnagar, Tripura: Resentment has been mounting among residents of Prakashnagar under the Rajnagar Assembly Constituency over the long-standing poor condition of roads in the area.

Despite repeated assurances from the administration, locals allege that no visible development work has commenced so far.

According to residents, the situation worsens significantly during the rainy season, when mud and severe waterlogging make movement nearly impossible.

More than a hundred families residing in the area are directly affected. In addition, patients traveling to the Social Health Centre and students commuting to Rajnagar Higher Secondary School face considerable hardship due to the deteriorated road infrastructure.

Residents claim they have repeatedly brought the matter to the attention of the concerned departments, including Panchayat Pradhan but no concrete steps have been taken. Expressing frustration over administrative inaction, locals have demanded urgent renovation and immediate intervention to restore proper connectivity in the area.
