Loksabha election : 7 BJP supporters injured in Tripura

Two BJP activists sustained critical injuries in the inter party poll clashes that broke out at Charilam Yesterday.

One of them was admitted in the GBP hospital’s trauma care centre where another was rushed to the Hapania hospital.

However both of them were reported to be out of danger as per the latest reports from the doctor on duty.

Reportedly, they were injured after being assaulted by Congress supporters at Charilam.

Sources said a group of congress supporters were preventing voters from casting votes.

After getting the information BJP supporters went to the spot to dissuade the congress supporters from preventing voters.

“All of sudden, Congress supporters attacked us from behind” alleged one of the BJP supporters.
