Dharmanagar, Nov 10: Mithun Kabir, the prime accused in the BSF vehicle vandalism and attack on jawans, has been arrested along with the vehicle used in the incident. Acting on a tip-off, police apprehended him late on Saturday night.

According to police sources, Mithun Kabir is not only the key accused in the attack but is also suspected to be a major operator in a cow smuggling network active across the state. Police are currently interrogating him to identify others involved in the case.

Further investigation is underway.
