Agartala, Feb 10: In an effort to further strengthen ties with veteran leaders and grassroots workers of the CPI(M), senior party leader and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar conducted a door-to-door visit in the Kamalghat area on Monday.
During his visit, Sarkar met several senior leaders and long-time party workers in the Jamilghat and Kamalghat areas under the CPI(M) Kamalghat Local Committee, which falls under the Bamutia Assembly Constituency No. 3.
He inquired about their well-being and discussed various organisational matters with them.
Party sources said the visit was aimed at reinforcing unity within the organisation and encouraging experienced party members to remain actively engaged in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
