Masterplan for development of River Plant of Northeastern states

Brahmaputra Board has been making efforts with masterplan to develop River Plant of Northeastern states.

It was decided by the board in 2018 that it will its general meeting in different states of the Northeast.

As a part of this 76th meeting was conducted at the Secretaria today, informed Chairman of Brahmaputra Board Rajiv Yaday in a press conference at the press conference hall of the Secretariat.

He said, the masterplans taken for the development of River Plant of River Howrah and River Mana of the state were discussed today in the meeting. Besides this, flood control and prevention of soil erosion etc, were also discussed in the meeting.

He said, Brahmaputra Bound with the assistance of Central Water Commission will conduct a workshop on improving the capability of the Northeastern states Training on different project reports will be given to officials in the workshop
