Under Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDI) scheme, a target has been taken to bring 15 hectares of land in West Tripura district under mango cultivation in the current financial year.
In this programme.farmers will be given assistance in mango cultivation in 4 hectares of land in Mohanpur block, 2 hectares in Bamutia block, 3 hectares in Jirania block.
2 hectares in Dukli block, 2 hectares in Hezamara block and 2 hectares in Mandai block. Moreover, under the MIDII scheme, a total of 10 hectare land will be brought under pineapple cultivation in Lefunga, Belhari. Mandai, Hezamara and Bamutia blocks. 3.28 lakh rupees will be spent in the implementation of this scheme.
