News of change of Chief Minister in Tripura is baseless: Pratima

Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik has claimed that the news of the change of Chief Minister in Tripura is false.

Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik commented on his own social media account on Monday night in the wake of reports in various media about the change of Tripura Chief Minister.

BJP Tripura in-charge Vinod Sonkar has also said that the attempt to tarnish the image of Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb through a Facebook page from Assam is completely baseless. It is totally a fake news said Vinod Sonkar.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb is currently at national capital, met with a most of union ministers including, Giriraj Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, Mansukh Mandaviya, Sarbananda Sonowal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Pratima Bhoumik, Kishan Reddy, Hardeep Singh Puri, Pijush Goyal and Nitin Gadkari.

He also met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

They extensively discussed the progress being made under various developmental schemes in Tripura.

In his tweet Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said “Under PM NarendraModi ji’s visionary leadership, we are committed to achieving objective of #TransformingTripura”.
