People suffer from uncontrolled mosquito menace

People living in different parts of Tripura are suffering from uncontrolled mosquito menace that also comes with the threats of additional health hazards.

People are reported to be struggling to save themselves from mosquito bites almost round the clock as the mosquito control team of city authorities have failed to make any mark.

The density of mosquito population has increased in the state capital also.

A big question mark on the role of the Government.

Each year the mosquito menace is getting more and more out of control.

The civic body is carrying out symbolic fogging drives once in a blue moon, but no proper drive is being undertaken to stop the breeding of mosquitoes.

The situation may get worsen further in the monsoon season.
