Plans have been taken to set up Sainik School in the state to provide quality vocational education and inculcate patriotism in the students.
The state government is upfront about the welfare of the TSR jawans, stated Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb during his visit to three different company Headquarters including TSR 7 Battalion Headquarters and company platoon yesterday.
The Chief Minister had lunch together with the jawans of TSR 7 Battalion Headquarters. Prior to that, be paid tribute to the Jawans who have sacrificed their lives while on duty. He also visited a blood donation camp organised at the Headquarters.
The Chief Minister yesterday visited Jampujala TSR 7th Battalion Headquarters, leadquarters of Belbari A company, Bright Bazar C company, and Gaman Bazar company platoon post under TSR 7 Battalion.
He visited different sections as well as interacted with the jawans in the Saink Sammelan held there. He enquired about the food quality, sanitation and other matters at the TSR camps and directed the officials to take necessary steps on some matters. He also suggested the officials to visa and stay sometimes in the Headquarters, company platoon posts. The jawans thanked the Chief Minister for taking different positive steps by the state government including the 7″ Pay Commission and the uniform The Chief Minister during his visit to camps said, the jawans have shown great ability in combating terrorism.
The TSR jawans have also gained good name outside the state due to their ability. Women also seem to be keen towards joining the force. Presently, candidates are being selected based on their merit without any partiality in the recruitment process. The state government is giving special emphasis on women empowerment. The Chief Minister called upon the TSR jawans to pay special attention to their girl child. The jawans on the other hand expressed that the Chief Minister’s visit that has motivated them to a great extent. The Chief Minister suggested to keep vigil upon accidents happening nearby.
In context of many TSR jawans hurting from farmer families he said, as the farmers are our bread winners, similarly their sons are protecting our land DGP VS Yadav said, the Chief Minister’s visit to the camps shows his sincerity towards the welfare of the jawans.
