According to Source, he is likely to inaugurate the new terminal of Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport of Agartala.
The Agartala airport is set to get a new integrated terminal building, with a capacity to cater to three million passengers per annum.
Construction work on the new integrated terminal building of MBB Airport has been completed and now the interior work is going on.
After Guwahati and Imphal, Agartala’s Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport is set to become the third international airport in the north-eastern region.
The new terminal will have the capacity to handle nearly 1,200 passengers a day, nearly three times more than the existing facility, which currently handles 500 daily passengers.
