The Philatelic Advisory Committee has approved the proposal of former Chief Minister of Tripura and Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb.

Philatelic DDG Sunil Sharma informed this matter in a letter to the former Chief Minister of Tripura Biplap Kumar Deb. 

In his tweet Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb wrote, ” Glad to share that the Philatelic Advisory Committee has accepted our proposal for issuing of Commemorative Postage Stamp on Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishor Manikya Bahadur.

He also added “It is a matter of great pride for the people of Tripura & our gratitude to GoI led by PM Sri @narendramodi Ji”.
