President Murmu has arrived here in Agartala for a two-day visit.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and Governor Satyadeo Naraya Arya welcomed President of India Droupadi Murmu at MBB airport in Agartala this morning.

After arrival at MBB Airport, a guard of honor was accorded to the president from Tripura Police at the terminal of MBB Airport.

Hon’ble President of India Droupadi Murmu inaugurated Tripura State Judicial Academy & laid the foundation stone of Tripura National Law University at Narsingarh, Agartala in presence of Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Chief Minister of Tripura, Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath and other dignitaries.

President Droupadi Murmu, during a two-day visit to the state, will be inaugurating and laying foundation stone for a number of projects in the state today.

At a special programme to be held at Hall No. 1 of Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan at 3.30 pm she will virtually inaugurate MLA Hostel built at Capital Complex, Agartala and lay foundation stone for up gradation of Hmunpui Damchera road, improvement of Jatanbari Mandirghat via Trithamukh road, Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya Museum and Cultural Centre at Pushpabanta Palace, Darbar Hall and ancillary building, multi-storied building at Gorkhabasti, infrastructure development of six higher secondary schools in different locations of Tripura, nine 100-seated boys/girls hostel, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Agartala.
