Senior Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman from Tripura said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a prominent figure within the Congress party, is expected to visit the troubled regions of Manipur and Tripura.

He confirmed, “I have already communicated with our leader, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. She has plans to visit both Manipur and Tripura in the near future.”

Sudip Roy Barman further said that during her visit to Tripura, she is also set to pay a visit to the Tripureswari temple in Gomati district.
Roy Barman, who recently became a permanent invitee to the Congress Working Committee (CWC) was warmly acknowledged by his supporters at the Tripura Congress headquarters.

He became the first Congress representative from Tripura to join the CWC, the highest-ranking decision-making body within the party.

In expressing his sentiments about this accomplishment, Sudip Roy Barman stated, ‘My inclusion in the CWC is not just a source of personal pride but a source of pride for the dedicated Congress leaders and workers who have been tirelessly serving in this northeastern state.”

The State Congress president, Asish Kumar Saha, extended gratitude to the party’s leadership for welcoming Roy Barman into the CWC.
