Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party, is presently engaged in his ‘Nyaya Yatra’ and plans to visit Tripura at a later date, once the ongoing journey up to the state of Maharashtra is concluded. The decision to exclude Tripura from Rahul’s ‘Nyaya Yatra’ schedule is due to the chosen route for convenience, which bypasses the state.
The AICC observer for Tripura, Girish Chondankar, stated this upon his arrival on Friday to assess the political landscape and the party unit’s operations.
He shared this during a media interaction, where he was joined by PCC President Asish Kumar Saha and MLA Sudip Royal Barman, who is also an invitee member to AICC.
Girish Chondankar stated that his visit aims to assess the situation and gather inputs for the Congress manifesto in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
He expressed concern over the crisis in Tripura under BJP’s governance.
