Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a telephonic conversation lasting over an hour and a half, according to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
During the call, President Putin strongly condemned the assassination attempt against President Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, stressing that any form of politically motivated violence is unacceptable.
Kremlin also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin supported President Trump’s move to extend the ceasefire, calling it a step toward stabilisation.
