Agartala, 05th June 2021 : Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers and Khukumoni jointly initiated a special ‘Covid Preventive Drive’ for Newspaper hawkers at Agartala Press Club on Saturday, 5th June.
For Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers, Tripura’s leading jewellery house, this was yet another initiative that was driven by social responsibility; and, this time, the heritage jewellery house was joined by Khukumoni, a leading brand of Sindoor & Aalta that also manufactures and markets the same brand of sanitizers and liquid hand-washes The ‘Covid Preventive Drive’ was actually a street-friendly move to spread awareness of the killer virus and its deadly infection and add to all the consciousness of taking proper preventive measures.
And the drive included distribution of sanitizers, and masks to newspaper hawkers . “We have always celebrated life and, therefore, saw the street-level Covid preventive drive as part of a responsibility to combat the life-threatening Covid pandemic”, said Rupak Saha, Director, Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers.
“We are glad that the drive was successfully conducted; and, having always adhered to Covid-19 safety protocol at our showrooms, we also derive satisfaction from being able to extend this consciousness beyond the four walls of our jewellery showrooms and actually going to town with the message”, added Saha.
