Agartala, June 2: The State Election Commission has stepped up preparations for the upcoming ADC Village Committee elections, with various stages of the electoral process progressing according to schedule.

Addressing the media on Monday, State Election Commission Secretary Anurag Sen said that key election-related activities, including the publication of the draft voter list, are being carried out as planned. He informed that provisions have been made for voters to submit objections and seek corrections to the electoral rolls.

Sen stated that the Commission is taking all necessary administrative measures to ensure that the elections are conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner. Efforts are also underway to enhance voter awareness in the areas concerned so that eligible voters can actively participate in the democratic process.

The State Election Commission has appealed to all stakeholders, including political parties and the public, to extend their cooperation for the smooth and successful conduct of the elections.
