Bishalgarh, Oct. 12: Tension prevailed in the Bishalgarh subdivision after Congress leader Subhash Pal’s house was allegedly attacked by miscreants said to be supporters of the ruling party on Saturday night.

According to reports, a group of attackers hurled bricks and stones at Pal’s residence in the Murabari area near the Bishalgarh subdivision police office. The assailants allegedly demanded that Pal leave the area for being a Congress member.

Subhash Pal, who serves as a state committee member of the Congress Kisan Morcha, was reportedly targeted again on Sunday afternoon when he returned home after work. He alleged that the same group physically assaulted him, and when his wife tried to intervene, she too was attacked.
