The current government of the state is media friendly: CM Manik Saha

The government is working with a humanitarian approach for the welfare of journalists including media .

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the Annual General Meeting of Tripura Photojournalists Association at Agartala Place Club on Saturday.

He also said that the media is the mirror of society.

He added that photojournalists have also made significant contributions in changing society.
For the welfare of the people of the state, it is also necessary to have a good relationship between the media and the government.

CM said that the present government is working with transparency in giving jobs and many other fields, which increased trust of people on the government.

He added that the government will continue to work for the welfare of the media and journalists in the future as well.
