The Government has assured that new UGC guidelines to address caste-based discrimination on campuses will not be misused.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the Centre, State governments, and UGC are responsible for preventing misuse, with the matter under Supreme Court supervision and all actions within the Constitution.
