The Calcutta High Court has directed the #WestBengal government to hand over land in nine border districts by March 31 for the installation of barbed wire fencing.
A division bench of Chief Justice Sujoy Paul and Justice Parthasarathi Sen said land already acquired and funded by the Centre must be transferred immediately, adding that procedural delays cannot be cited as an excuse.
