Divyangjans carry talent in various areas. They are successfully doing important works in various sectors in the society. We must stand by them with cooperative mindset, enunciated Labour Minister Bhagaban Chandra Das after inaugurating helping materials and certificate distribution programme at Disability Rehabilitation Centre in Unakoti district yesterday.
He said, Prati Ghare Sushason program started across the state on September 17 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The main objective of the program is to deliver all kinds of benefits of governmental schemes to the people of the state. The government is determined to deliver government services till the last person of the society.
Other dignitaries present there were Sabhadhipati of Unakoti Zilla Parishad Amalendu Das, Sahakari Sabhadhipati Shyamal Das, Chairperson of Kailasahar Municipal Council Chapala Deb Roy, District Hospital Superintendent Dr. Samarendra Debbarma and social worker Pabitra Debnath. The programme was presided over by DM & Collector of Unakoti district Uttam Kumar Chakma.
Welcome speech was delivered by District Inspector of Social Welfare & Social Education department Subinoy Bhowmik. Helping materials and certificates were distributed to 110 Divyangjans of the district in the programme.
