The present state government aims to build a developed Tripura-Best Tripura taking the people of the state along “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas” is the government’s ultimate mantra It reflects in every initiative taken by the government, enunciated Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha after inaugurating a programme and a blood donation camp held today on fourth death anniversary of Late MLA Dilip Sarkar at Charipara Vidyalaya Para situated at Badarghat, Agartala, The Chief Minister then paid floral tribute to the image of the Late MIA
The Chief Minister in the programme said, Late MLA Dilip Sarkar always had the affinity towards helping people. Real tribute would be paid to him if we could follow his life principles in our lives. He said, blood donation is the supreme donation of all donations. Blood does not have religion, community, and gender. There is no nobler deed than blood donation. He said, although there had been scarcity of blood in blood banks of the state due to the elections, a public awareness has been generated presently as various schools, colleges and organisations have come forward for blood donation. The Chief Minister informed that the government has taken apt initiative to build an addiction-free state.
The Chief Minister said, the representatives of G-20 nations are coming to Tripura. They will also be visiting various tourist spots of the state. State’s culture, produce and items will be exhibited to the foreign representatives through different exhibition stalls. As a result, the state will make its place in the world map, hoped the Chief Minister.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumdar, MLA Surajit Dutta, MLA Minarani Sarkar, Social Worker Rajih Bhattacharjee gave their condolences to elder brother of Late MLA Dilip Sarkar, Rajkumar Sarkar. MLA Antara Sarkar Deb. Deputy Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Monika Das Dutta and the Corporators of AMC were also present there The Chief Minister handed over ration items to two residents of Apna Ghar old age home us a part of the programme. Total 91 people have donated their blood in the blood donation camp.
