Thirteen people were injured in a fire that broke out at the main venue of the ongoing UN COP30 Climate Summit in Belém, Brazil, forcing thousands to evacuate.

🔸The fire occurred in the “Blue Zone”, which houses all meetings, negotiations, country pavilions, the media centre, and offices of high-profile dignitaries, including the main plenary hall.

🔸The UN COP30 organising committee said all injured were treated on-site for smoke inhalation and their condition is being monitored.
