Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, the Chairman of TIPRA Motha had a meeting with Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday and addressed various matters related to the advancement of TTAADC regions.
Being a representative of the Tribal District Council, Debbarma, along with a TIPRA delegation, requested the intervention of Dr. Saha to resolve several issues that have been pending for government approval for a considerable period of time.
He said that several matters were discussed during the meeting, which are adversely affecting the operational efficiency of the Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council.
Pradyot Kishore added, “The ADC has passed customary law and Land Revenue Bills, but they are still pending for approval from the governor. Besides, the TTAADC has initiated various programs to enhance the healthcare infrastructure, but the state government has not released any funds for these initiatives.”
He further stated that the CM attentively listened to their grievances and assured them that he would address the issues by consulting with the Chief Secretary and Finance Secretary to check the status of proposals forwarded by the TTAADC.
