Former Tipra Motha Chief Pradyot Kishore Debvarma voiced against the Center and the state government while addressing the third anniversary function of Tipra Matha Party at Malanch Niwas in Agartala on Monday.
On the third foundation day of Tripura’s regional political party TIPRA Motha, held at Malancha Niwas here today, Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, the former supremo of TIPRA Motha, sharply criticized those who abandoned the party for the national party in pursuit of power, asserting that they have sacrificed their freedom of speech.
Pradyot also said that he could have left the Congress and joined the BJP. But going to BJP will do injustice to the people. And he felt it. So TipraMatha has created an opportunity for the people to speak in the assembly by creating the party.
At present 13 MLAs speak as Tipra Motha for the people. Because even today the education and health of the people are not matching. People are dying for lack of treatment.
