TIPRA Motha party organised a mass public gathering at Swami Vivekananda Stadium in Agartala on Saturday centering the 2023 assembly elections.
The party had shown its strength across various districts till now. However, the party showed its strength directly in the capital city this time and strengthened their demands regarding the Greater Tipraland.
Winning maximum seats among 40 seats in the hilly ADC areas and also winning some of the remaining 20 seats is the main goal of Pradyot so that the BJP and other parties can be dismantled in the elections.
State within a state is practically an illusion and does not have any base.
Instead of dreaming for the Greater Tipraland, the priority has to be given on the socio-economic development of indigenous people.
It is to be noted that the Royal Scion Pradyot Kishore was outside Tripura when the state was under the Left rule and he did not even took any initiative to form an independent party.
When BJP-IPFT alliance government was formed Tiprasa people started gaining respect and various government benefits, TIPRA Motha was formed just to distract people.
Although TIPRA Motha was victorious in the ADC elections using emotions of tribal people, securing assembly constituency seats in the hilly areas would be a major challenge for Pradyot.
IPFT also raised the slogan for the Greater Tipraland earlier before 2018 assembly elections and dominated the hilly areas.
However, their dominion was not long-lasting, which was proved in the ADC elections.
Similarly, the future of TIPRA Motha will also be at stake when the demand for the Greater Tipraland will proved to be a dream.
Meanwhile, a huge number of tribal people gathered at the Swami Vivekananda Stadium, which gave high boost in the confidence of Pradyot Kishore as well as raised threat against some political parties.
Now the question is when will everyone realise that the dream of Tipraland is impractical, will Pradyot be praised as Bubagra?
And, what would the Royal Scion do for damage control?
