JRBT will release the final result of 2 thousand 500 Group-D posts on 7th or 8th September 2024.
It was approved in the cabinet meeting held yesterday. Food Minister Sushant Chowdhury announced this decision of the Cabinet in a press conference organized at the press conference hall at the Secretariat today.
Also, in the cabinet meeting held yesterday, while announcing various decisions including appointment of people in various departments and creation of new posts, Food Minister Mr. Chowdhury said that it has been decided to fill 916 constable vacancies (male and female) under the Home Department.
In this context, he said that the examination of 1,000 constable posts has been conducted earlier. Its recruitment process will be completed soon. After that the recruitment process of these new 916 constable posts will be started.
He also said that the decision to create and fill 51 different categories of posts under the Department of Tourism has been taken in the Cabinet meeting. Posts include Engineer, Computer Assistant, Group-C, Group-D etc. He also informed that it has been decided to appoint 8 Senior Informatics Officers (Group-A) and 1 Lower Division Clerk under the Department of Information and Technology. The recruitment process of Senior Informatics Officer through TPSC and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) through JRBT will be completed, the Food Minister said.
The Food Minister also said that in the Cabinet meeting, it has been decided to increase the salary of SPOs (Special Police Officers) working under the Ministry of Home Affairs. As a result of the increase in salary, they will get 12 thousand per month from now.
As a result of this decision, 3 thousand 776 SPOs (Special Police Officers) of the state will benefit. He said, it has been decided to increase the wages of pump operators working in 19 municipal councils and 1 municipal corporation of the state. As a result, pump operators associated with Iron Removal Plant (IRP) will get a minimum wage of 7,500 per month and non-pump operators associated with IRP will get a minimum wage of 7,000 per month.
