Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha appeals for voluntary blood donation to meet crisis

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp organized by Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Agartala Branch at Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital on Sunday.

While inaugurating the camp, he said, “It is necessary to maintain the balance between the demand and supply of blood. For this, more blood donation camps should be organized in different parts of the state, which will make it possible to maintain the balance of blood supply and demand properly”.

While talking to reporters at the blood donation camp, CM said that due to the election, some shortage of blood was observed in various districts of the state. He asked the people of the state to come forward to donate more blood.

The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the management of this blood donation camp and thanked everyone for voluntarily coming forward to donate blood along with the public including doctors, OT workers and the workers working in the AGMC.

A total of 65 people donated blood in the blood donation camp.
