Tripura Governor visits ICFAI University

Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu visited Icfai University at Kamalghat this morning. The registrar of the university welcomed the governor to the university.

Governor interacted with the Registrar and other faculty members at the university’s conference hall.

The Governor was briefed on the present scenerio of the University through PowerPoint presentations.

In discussions with the registrar and others, the Governor directed to give importance to the local language especially Kokborok language. He also emphasized on giving special attention to Divyangjans and their guardians in the university.

Moreover, the Governor inaugurated the Wall Magazine in the Academic Building of the University. Law students staged a short play on the evils of drug use and gambling. The students also met the governor during his visit to the university. The Governor also planted a tree on the university campus. He also visited the university library.
