Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu met with various officials in an exchange meeting on development projects, held in Khowai District Office’s Confrence Hall.
District Magistrate Chandni Chandran, Governor’s Secretary UK Chakma, DFO Akshay B Vordo, Superintendent of Police Dr. Ramesh Yadav, BDOs of various divisions and officials of various departments were present in the meeting.
In the exchange meeting, District Magistrate Chandni Chandran informed the Governor about various developmental projects of the district through PowerPoint presentation.
In the exchange meeting, the governor suggested to encourage more palm oil cultivation and queen pineapple cultivation through the horticulture department and to adopt scientific method and tissue culture methods.
He suggested providing paddy harvesting machines among the farmers. The governor asked the officials to expand the system such as the increase of animal stock to encourage people more in animal husbandry. He said that he is visiting various districts to see the various developmental works under the central scheme.
