Tripura makes permanent resident certificate mandatory for government jobs

PRTC will now be required for all types of government jobs in the state. This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting today. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced this decision of the Cabinet in a press conference at the Press Conference Hall in the Secretariat in the evening.

In the press conference, he also said that if a suitable candidate is not available in the state for any post, exemption will be given in the case of PRTC for the job application of a candidate from outside the state.

This decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday.

In a press conference, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that in the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to purchase a total of 35 thousand metric tons of paddy from the farmers of the state at minimum subsidized price during the Kharif season this year.
