Revenue and Forest Minister Narendra Chandra Debbarma passed away on Sunday at 2.45 pm at GBP Hospital. The state government has decided to observe state mourning from Sunday, January 01 till January 3 to honour the late revenue and forest minister.
Therefore, the national flag will be at half-mast across the state and there will be no official entertainment. Moreover, offices of state government, government-owned organizations and all educational institutions will be closed tomorrow on January 2.
The General Administration (Political) Department of the State Government has informed that the body of late Revenue Minister Narendra Chandra Debbarma will be taken from his residence (Advisor Chowmuhani) in Agartala first to Akashvani station.
