Tripura Sadar SDM Officials Raid Markets In Agartala; 3 shops sealed

Under the direction of Food Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, raids are continuing in various markets as a joint initiative of Sadar Sub-Divisional Administration and Food Department.

A raid is conducted in GB market on Saturday as a part of this initiative.

Food Department Officer Pradip Kumar Bhowmik and Chief Food Inspector Debjyoti Chakraborty were present in the raid drive.

Mr. Bhowmick said that three shops were closed during Saturday’s operation for operating the market illegally.

Besides, a large quantity of expired spices was seized from a shop. It is also noted that necessary measures will be taken to control the prices of goods in the markets.
