Tripura sector CRPF DIG Vijay Kumar along with officials of 71 Bn CRPF and volunteers of Sewa O Sahayta Parishad of Agartala visited two villages in Montang valley today and distributed clothes and shoes to the poor and needy villagers.

These clothes were donated by NGO – Sewa O Sahayta Parishad and by Group Centre CRPF Agartala.

The NGO chairperson Ms Saswati Das and her colleagues accompanied the CRPF convoy carrying the clothes and organised the cloth-distribution events in both villages.

The beneficiaries heaved a sigh of relief with the clothes as winter has already set in around the high altitudes of these hilltop villages.
