Tripura to get 200 companies of Central forces for the upcoming Loksabha Election 2019.

The Election Commission of India has sanctioned the mobilization of 200 companies for the Lok Sabha poll to be held on April 11 and 18 in Tripura.

During the last assembly polls held last year 2018, 300 companies of CPMF had been deployed in the state

The first contingent of companies of CPMF is scheduled to reach the state shorty.

At present, five companies of CPMF are posted in Tripura. Sources said that the mobilization of atleast 100 companies is expected to be completed by next week.
