The Youth Congress activists and leaders showed black flags and protested against Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath in front of his residence on Monday.
Tripura Pradesh Congress leaders raised the “Step Down” slogan and demanded Ratan Lal Nath’s immediate resignation from the post of state Education Minister.
The Youth Congress activists further added that a huge number of TET qualified youths sitting jobless at homes, whereas the education minister could never give any appropriate statement regarding their recruitment till date.
On the other hand, a teacher is forced to take 8-10 classes everyday at school.
It can be noted that several incidents of students protest regarding teacher shortage has been reported since the past few months in different areas of Tripura.
Pradesh Youth Congress demanded immediate resignation of Ratan Lal Nath claiming the state education minister is not worthy of his position.
Police arrested all the protesters to vacate the area in front of Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s residence.
